Installing an air conditioner can be a difficult and complicated process. It is strongly recommended that you hire a professional to install your air conditioner. Attempting to install the unit yourself could void the warranty or cause further damage to the unit.
Most air conditioners will last for about 15 years. However, if they are not properly maintained, it may only last for 10 years or less.
You should have your air conditioner serviced at least once a year, preferably in the spring. This will help to ensure that it is working properly and can prevent problems in the future.
